So, having seen how plus-size women are discriminated against in the fashion industry as a whole, i decided to take a stand and represent these women. I understand what these women go through because i have been there a million times before, i am still going through it and i don't see it going away anytime soon.

Hi. My name is Victoria Maposa. I am a musician, an actress, a fashion designer, a writer, a fashion blogger and a shameless plus-size model.

I'm here to share my experiences as a plus-size model trying to make it in Zimbabwe and in Africa as a whole. I have made it to a magazine cover, i've had offers to appear in magazines and i've had people asking me to feature in their music videos (i've been in two music videos so far). I'm proud of how far i've gone as a freelance model #PatOnTheBack

However, i've noticed that people haven't yet embraced the concept of plus-size models, especially in Africa where, funny enough, the average woman is a size 12. I've made it my agenda to get plus-size models noticed in the fashion industry. I'm here to change things and i'll not stop until things have changed. Somebody has got to step up and take a stand, and that somebody is me.

So, join me on this quest. I'll share my experiences, i'll give fashion and beauty tips, and i'll promote other plus-size models like myself.
